Chocolate Chip Cookies
Layer in Quart Jar
3/4 cup coconut
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/3 cup flour
1 cup white sugar.
Instruction Tag for Gift Jar
Mix together 1 cup butter or margarine, add 1 egg slightly beaten. Add sugar the
first ingredient from the gift jar, then slowly add the rest of the contents of
the jar.
Roll into 1 inch balls & press. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes or until light
brown.
Cool slightly before transferring cookies to a rack.
